What are stretch marks?
A stretch mark removal procedure is normally required to disguise deep, red or unsightly stretch marks.
stretch marks tend to occur when the skin is suddenly stretched and therefore are common with pregnancy/ multiple pregnancies, weight gain followed by weight loss, or rapid growth spurts in teenage years.
Some skin types are more susceptible to stretch marks compared to others, although they tend to affect more women than men, and for some patients, the marks can be quite noticeable as raised white or red lines found on the arms, tummy, thighs or breast area. People often feel self-conscious about their stretch marks, meaning they no longer feel like they can wear revealing clothing or swimwear.
What happens once I have the stretch mark removal treatment?
Immediately following light/tightening stretch mark removal, the most affected area may be tender or pink. but this is temporary.
What to Consider?
You may require a combination treatment depending on the laxity of the skin, or the length/ depth of the stretch marks in the tissues. your therapist will advise you of the most suitable treatment for you during your initial consultation.
